Monthly wind PPA & Deals Tracker — September 2026

The Voice of Renewables presents our monthly global roundup of wind energy deals announced or closed in August 2026. Covering major PPAs and offtake agreements alongside financing, M&A, refinancings, bonds, tax equity and joint ventures, this is a concise view of the transactions driving wind investment and development around the world.

PPAs

ERG signed a five-year PPA with Glencore Energy Europe for 164 GWh per year (roughly 820 GWh total) from three Polish onshore wind farms — Radziejow, Slupia and Szydlowo — with supply starting January 2027.

RWE signed a 433 MW virtual PPA with Oracle, sourced from its existing Panther Creek I, II and III wind farms in West Texas, to help power Oracle’s AI data centres.

ENGIE North America agreed to supply Oracle with up to 568 MW of Texas (ERCOT) wind power, part of a broader roughly 1.7 GW Oracle wind-procurement push that also included agreements with Clearway Energy and Scout Clean Energy announced the same week.

Other deals

Skyborn Renewables reached financial close on the 976.5 MW Gennaker offshore wind farm in the German Baltic Sea, co-developed with Stadtwerke Munchen, backed by 16 commercial lenders plus the EIB in a financing package exceeding 3 billion euros.

AIP Management acquired the 241 MW Overturingen onshore wind farm in central Sweden, completing a 312 MW Nordic platform alongside its earlier Aldermyrberget purchase as the opening move of its “Project Winter” Nordic renewables strategy.

Concord Green Energy, the renewables arm of Vancouver’s Concord Pacific, acquired the 210 MW Golden South Wind Project in Saskatchewan — the province’s largest operating wind farm — from Power Sustainable, expanding its Canadian portfolio to roughly 543 MW.

PNE Group sold its 153 MW Karolew onshore wind development (21 turbines, ready-to-build by 2029) in southwest Poland to an undisclosed international energy utility, its third Polish project sale in a year.
