Elering has updated its web-based map application e-Gridmap, which helps customers estimate the potential costs of connecting to the electricity grid even before submitting an official application.
The main feature of the new version is the automatic calculation of connection offers based on Elering’s current price list. This enables customers to gain a more accurate overview of possible costs in advance, thereby supporting project planning and budgeting.
The e-Gridmap application is a public web tool created by Elering that displays the locations of Estonia’s substations and transmission lines, as well as the available capacity. The application is primarily intended for those seeking to connect to the electricity transmission grid, helping them make planning and investment decisions. Through e-Gridmap, users can obtain a preliminary overview of connection options and costs before submitting an official connection or pre-study application.
The prices displayed in the application are indicative. To receive a detailed offer, customers must submit a connection or pre-study application via the connection e-environment at egle.ee.
