Hydrogen Horizons – Baltics Nordics CEE set to return to Lithuania

The 2nd annual Hydrogen Horizons – Baltics Nordics CEE conference will bring together leading experts, policymakers, investors, and industry stakeholders on 18 November 2026 to accelerate the build-out of the hydrogen economy across the Baltic, Nordic and Central & Eastern European regions. The conference will once again take place in Lithuania, with the event venue to be announced closer to the date.

Organised by The Voice of Renewables, the event provides a unique pan-regional platform that connects the entire hydrogen value chain — from production and storage, to infrastructure, regulation, demand, and cross-border integration.

Conference Highlights

In-depth panels covering all key aspects of hydrogen deployment: The agenda features sessions on hydrogen policies and regulation, demand drivers, production and export potential, integration of hydrogen with electricity markets, and development of hydrogen networks and storage capacity.

Cross-border collaboration & corridor building: A major focus will be on advancing the development of the Nordic‑Baltic Hydrogen Corridor and other cross-border infrastructure connecting production sites in the Nordics and Baltics with demand centres in Central and Eastern Europe.

Top experts and thought leaders on stage: Speakers include senior representatives from major energy companies, infrastructure operators, and consultancies — such as Hitachi Energy, Siemens Energy, leading hydrogen-cluster organisations, and regulatory advisors.

Strategic agenda tied to European policy and market context: Panels will address how EU-level legislation (e.g. hydrogen packages, renewable fuel regulation, grid-integration rules) are translated into national frameworks across the region — and what this means for project developers, investors, and end-users.

Why This Matters

As Europe accelerates its push toward decarbonisation, the Baltic, Nordic and CEE region stands out for its renewable energy potential and ambition to develop hydrogen at scale. Hydrogen Horizons aims to fast-track meaningful collaboration by bringing together stakeholders who can effect real change: regulators, financiers, developers and offtakers. The conference represents a timely opportunity to bridge supply, demand, regulation, and infrastructure — key preconditions for a functional hydrogen economy.

By convening experts from across the region, Hydrogen Horizons fosters a converging vision for hydrogen corridors, large-scale production, cross-border trade, regulatory clarity, and long-term storage solutions.
